Madden 10 demo makes Madden 09 look horrific.

So I played Madden 09 online in an UnRANKED match last night with a friend after taking off about a 1 yr & 1/2 from consistently playing madden. I probably played about 10 games AT THE MOST of 09 .... and as for 08 I quit MID-SEASON. I played the M10 demo (5 min qtr) more times than 09.
With that said... I had a poster on my YT channel insist that what I am experiencing in the M10 demo was in fact IN 09. So I wanted to revisit 09 to see if quiting was in haste.

No taking off a year and a half was justifed... actually needed!

This is what I realized M10 demo has over 09:
- No more QB suck in tackle animations preventing QB from releasing the ball [Thank you EA]
- M10 Has "QB" evade now [Major +]
- NO Outrageous impact and tackles [Blitz style tackles]
- NO "SUPER" JUKES moves
- NO Ridiculous amounts of PICKS (INT's)
- NO O-line collapsing right away ... Pockets are formed.
- NO Abnormal fast paced game
- More control over swim and finesse moves

Things are said to be in the "FULL" version:
- ONLINE FRANCHISE ...[Need I say more?]
- Custom Uniform creator
- ONLINE CO-OP
- Oh did I mention ..ONLINE FRANCHISE? haha

Things 09 has that I don't want in 10:
- ONLINE LAG
- Servers always DOWN a lot
- Online crashes at the wrong times (which is ANYTIME)
- Broken scouting in franchise


CURRENT STATUS ABOUT FULL VERSION OF M10: Optimistic (at this point ..but that could change swiftly KNOWING EA).

Madden 2010 has me coming back to the series for the first time since Madden 05. Iv seen enough that'll assure me the game is what iv been waiting for since the leap to the next gen consoles. Cant wait.

You're right man. Madden 10 isn't perfect but in comparison to 09 it looks awesome! It makes Madden 09 look like effort was barely put into it.

Lets just hope Madden 11 can make Madden 10 look horrific.

I'm glad you enjoy the demo though. many ppl still have problems with it. But you should search the forums for the list of m10's improvements. we made an official thread listing it's new features/enhancements.

Madden 10 has me back to the franchise afte rnot playing madden since Kyler Boller was a rookie and i put him on the Raiders

It's been a while, although I cant wait to take Stafford with me and build a team around him. Probably Cleveland.
