I think the way the camera shakes when you break into the open field on long TDs is horrible to look at. I don't think it's something I'd ever get used to.

Wasn't this only apart of the 'actioncam' package last year? If you switched to the default cam in Madden 09, you wouldn't get these special effects.

I've asked this and got a resounding negative responce from the community. Appearently they love this Arcadish camera. I for one would love to see the option to turn it "off". However, I do not believe that such an option exists.

Is it arcadish? Yes and me likey.

Do agree, for those that don't have a setting to turn it off. Hopefully console games will have more and more settings for the gamer.

What exactly is it's point? I ask that seriously. What is it trying to emulate? A on-field player's perspective or is it just "something that looks cool?"

What other special effects do you get with the actioncam (I don't know the difference)? I think the breakaway camera looks horrible myself

It's not emulating anything...it's just some superficial effect they slapped on Madden 09. Again, this was only seen on the actioncam setting last year. I'm operating under the assumption that the actioncam is still in the game and that's the setting that the demo is on.
