Almost no-one lists their 3rd QB on the 45 man roster.

Exactly. Usually only way the 3rd string guy comes in, is if both of the guys ahead of him get hurt.

I know that, but if they plan on using White in the Wildcat then they have a reason to make the 3rd QB active on gameday

i think the only playbook with passing plays out of wildcat will be the fins and ravens. and you should be able to use your qb out of the wildcat. we know the fins are gonna put white back there, i think there may be a way to get a qb in the wildcat based off playing ncaa but it looks like ppl here are gonna cry cheese when white shreds them.

If your QB is being used in the Wildcat, doesn't it cease being the Wildcat?

ESPN was discussing this while showing highlights of Vick running Wildcat-type plays.

i guess so. i guess it we be called the spread instead of the wildcat. we know the fins are gonna use white in the wildcat formation this year so my whole point is theys hould let us do that. the 2 differences in the wildcat formation from most are

1) the RB replaces the QB. sinc epat white is great runner an dplayed college qb he could take that posistion

2) The LT is placed on the right side of the line meaning the line is unbalanced. more power on the right side.

That's the point ESPN made as well. It will eventually just be called the spread.

There just needs to be a simple way to sub Pat White into the Wildcat in Madden 10. That's the main issue here.
