Someone from ea said earlier that microsoft has some rule that b button must always be the back button.

Re: "Retro" Playcalling Screen Controller Layout

Annoyed me at first. I'll get used to it.

It is very unintuitive though. It just makes sense for B(360) to be used instead of Y.

Another thing that is similar, is the franchise menu, where you can use L and R to scroll up and down.

Only little things, but I wonder who comes up with this stuff.

Edit: Just saw the previous poster. Now it makes sense.

Co-SIGN!!!!

For PS3 users its a PAIN!!

Naturally you would think the right box would be the O button. It makes sense.

Why change it to Triangle?!!!!

I can buy that.

That stinks for games like Madden but oh well.

Re: "Retro" Playcalling Screen Controller Layout

i'm glad i'm not the only one...

i mean, i can understand the B button being the button that goes back to a previous menu (CIRCLE button is the same on PS3). but there are games that break rules.

for example on PS2, TRIANGLE was designated to go back to the previous menu. i believe it was Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty (and subsequent MGS games) broke that "rule" by using CIRCLE as the "back" button.

i guess i will have to get used to it but damn it really doesn't feel like Madden with the different playcall and gameplay button configurations. keep the graphics just change the interface back!
