Tirico is better than Hammond so I voted yes to the poll, but he's definitely not my favourite.

Buck and Aikman or Michaels/Albert + Johnston/?

I would like to see EA enhance the NFL feel of the game by using different commentators for the playoffs, i.e. 2 for the regular season and a different 2 for the playoffs.

But back to Mike Tirico, I know and hope that he would have a lot more character in recording commentating for Madden than Tom Hammond. Tom Hammond may be fine for television (as I've only ever watched one broadcast he has done which was the Arizona v Atlanta Wild Card Game of this past season), but his commentating on Madden NFL 09 and, from the looks of it, 10, is just bland, robotic, and dull.

I voted no. I don't like Tirico's voice at all.

I'm hoping for new approaches to commentary, that's actually more important than just changing the announcer.
