Does anyone know if madden 10 has the auto-passing feature like ncaa football 10 for people that prefer to coach their franchise?

There is coach mode. Does that suffice, or are you looking for auto passing specifically?

Can anyone confirm since this is the only way that I buying the game. I am an old guy (46)

and my stick skills suck but enjoy the strategy of calling the plays (thankfully NCAA 10 NG has Auto Pass this year and I was able to move up from the PS2 platform).

For those confirming, where is the option located to turn on Auto Pass (as it defaulted to Off in NCAA 10) as I want to try it out in the store at Best Buy this weekend.

there is auto pass its called coach mode. it says if you turn on coach mode and you dont move the qb it will pass automatic

awwww so we don't have the "real" coach mode? Back in the ps2 and xbox days? That stinks...

Thanks for the Info! I look forward to playing this year. This sounds exactly like Auto Pass in NCAA 10. You snap the ball but don't touch the joystick afterwards and the CPU will pass it for your QB based on reads and who is the primary receiever in the play.

I just got a lot more excited about Madden for PS3!

I was wondering about this also. I prefer the QB to throw on it's own since I suck at passing but still like to take over the runs and such. Last year there was a work around but it was a pain in the *** to do every play and I've forgotten how it's done.

So it's confirmed that the QB will auto-pass? This could be the decision maker for me.
