keep players on your franchise (or sign players) with ratings in the 50's?

Depends on which rating scale we're using. In the past, never. I could always pick up a free agent that was in the low 70s and be fine with my salary cap.

In Madden 10? I don't know, it might be that I will.

I have signed a Rookie FB's off the FA wire, after the draft. Stash them and play them in a lot of Pre Season games. I had one FB I signed in Madden 08 and after three years he went from a 62 to a 78...granted I used the training to bump him up,mainly in run blocking.

What do you mean "overall rating scale?" I'm talking about the difference in ratings between Madden 09 and Madden 10. Are you aware of the changes to ratings? An 80 in 09 is equal to something like a 70 in 10.

Well before I would because I could always build him up, but in Madden 10 it would depend on what is POTENTIAL rating was. If his POT rating was somewhere in the 70's or 80's then definately...even if his OVR was 50's currently.

i thougth we couldnt see their potential rating unless they were on our team? i might be wrong just though i read that somewhere
