Running Outta Bounds

Just read the IGN review on Madden 10, and I have to say one thing really bothered me. Does the AI really STILL runs outta bounds for no reason? Tell me this isn't true. I noticed in the demo that the CPU would run outta bounds, but it seemed like it was 'cause of their momentum was carrying them out. Does IGN just not know what the hell their talking about or is this the same thing I saw at least once a game in '09? Besides ROBO QB, this really takes me out of the experience.

CPU does still go out of bounds for no reason and I haven't really seen the proper foot work on the sidelines I was hopeing.

What's really, REALLY sad is that people have complained about this since Madden NFL 06, and it was said to have been fixed in Madden NFL 07.

Now, three years later, it STILL hasn't been fixed.

Yeah, that was the one that really bothered me. RB catches the ball in the flats, has no one in front of him and he runs outta bounds But I have yet to see that in the demo.

Re: Running Outta Bounds

i beg to differ...

My first game there was an instance of a throw out to the flat, the RB caught the pass, and I actually eased up on the play and expected to run him out of bounds, but to my surprise he cut up field right along the sideline and picked up a considerable amount of yardage before a safety managed to cut him off...

At the same time though, another throw into the flat to a RB resulted in a pass going out of bounds for a loss of 7 yards...

So it may be hit or miss... but theres definatly the chance for it to stay in bounds...

You're right I've seen that too. I'm just hoping its not as bad as it was in '09

Re: Running Outta Bounds

Why did I read that IGN review? I had my 60 bucks all ready to go, and now I'm filled with doubt.
