Should i have gotten a chance to kick again???

Ok i'm playing the full version of the game so this isn't about the demo. I'm down 28-29 to the colts. I run the clock down to 3 seconds and kick the field goal to win. I make it but there is a holding penalty. The colts choose to accept the penalty and the game ends without me getting another chance to kick. Should that have happened. I'm not sure of this rule. But i was lead to believe that i would have another shot at the field goal?

No. The game should end.

No. Games can end on offensive penalties. They can't end on defensive penalties.

While that definitely sucks, I must admit that at least it's something that happens. I'm hoping that there's botched snaps and stuff in regards to punts/fgs and blocks too. That would be awesome.

i had this happen and it took me into overtime...where i lost but i learned the lesson that in madden, you should kick when there's about 20 seconds left, just to be safe.

I hope too many people don't complain about cool stuff like this, or else holding may never happen, and Madden will turn into NBA 2k where loose ball fouls rarely occur.

I looked it up and it is indeed the end of the game, unless it is kick catch interference.
