The sliders are old style, not the new pS3 type.

The QB OVR ratings are all over the map - from a low of 48 to a high of 99. Only 7 are 90+.

No Pro-Tak, but fight for the fumble is in.

Regarding Wildcat - I don't see any quick way to list all the teams that use it. Sorry, too time consuming. It's not something that fits in with my niners gameplan so I won't really use it. It was in the niners playbook so perhaps all teams have the option to use it.

how are the graphics on a scale of 1-10?

That's hard to say because of the refresh issue or whatever they call it of LCD with old gen systems. It will play smoother on an old CRT TV but I'm playing on a fairly new 46 inch LCD. I'm seeing jaggies and some will have the LCD delay depending on what type of TV you have (mine has a gaming mode which helps.) Overall it's tolerable, but consider I've been playing football games since the 1970's Atari 2600 3 on 3 football. It doesn't bother me as much as maybe someone who's younger and used to top notch graphics. Once you get into the game you kinda forget about it, then I'll go to the PS3 and get wowed again.

Dissapointed about the Pro Tak...went back to the EA site and the small write up there said it was going to be in...

With regard to QB ratings:

Did they transfer that 'long, medium, short' rating system that was supposed to be implemented into PS3 to old gen as well?

Wow, I'm playing against the Rams and their OL just destroyed the niners on a running play. Three (yes 3) of their OL took out 2 each of my guys - or 6 total. They block a man until he's dead then go hunting for more bodies to hit, and they don't stop until the whistle blows. This allowed Jackson to run for 14 yards and he plowed over a couple players in the process. Looking at the replay was crazy - total domination. I saved the replay and will see if I can post on youtube tonight. Gotta run for now. Loving the OL blocking!

The PS3 manual states Pro-Tak as a new feature, there is no such thing in the PS2 manual. And thus far I'm not seeing gang tackles - crowds yes but not gang tackles. Here is the listing of new features in the PS2 manual...

Thanks for the info bro. im excited bout getting it for ps2 this year, and i think your right, i love ps2 gameplay so im going with ps2 until they decide to quit making it. glad to hear about the ratings being stretched out a litte. Im glad you said wildcat is in 49ers playbook, im hoping they put it in carolina's. Im just waiting to see how effective wildcat is in this game.
