Re: My Madden 2010 Review

Good article. I loved 2k5 absolutely hated Madden 09. Played a couple days, didnt like the gameplay, realized you couldnt create 32 teams and havent played it since. Now I played the demo for 10 and all of a sudden it feels realistic and fun. I cant easily pick apart a defense with an average QB.

And btw completely agree with GUS JOHNSON. Have been saying him for years now instead of Hammond. He would bring so much excitement to the game. Look him up on youtube and its just fun to hear him. He'll make a 40 yard pass that was broken up seem like it was an 80 yard TD run in OT. Please listen EA.

Re: My Madden 2010 Review

I read this review again...just not as accurate as others that I've seen. I absolutely respect the opinion, but I'm not certain that this is on the same level as say, Bill Abner, in the department of material evaluated. But still, thanks.

Glad to see I'm not the only one who immediately thought of Gus as the perfect Madden 2011 announcer.

The guy is a pro, but when the action picks up he isn't afraid to get into the game much how a fan would. As robotic as Joe Buck and Tom Hammond are, Gus is spontaneous and fun to listen to. EA needs to make this happen.

I'l never forget Joe Buck's call of David Tyree's Super Bowl catch...oh wait, I already have. Wasn't it something along the lines of: The throw....Tyree...with the catch...

Puh-leeeze.
