madden midnight release party

Almost all will have midnight release unless they are in a mall. I'd ask them either way beforehand so you won't show up looking like a fool.

bigjake - you have to wait until 12:01am but don't just show up then, get there at least 11:30 to get your copy paid for and ready so you can get the game at 12:01 and get out of there.

I gotta go to a concert but it starts at 7, but if I show up to gamestop around 11 , will they still let me in?

I went to the midnight release of Gears 2 and that cured me of not going again. There were some really strange people in line. I mean the freaks came out. LOL may be different for the Madden demographic but I doubt it.

The only benefit of getting it at midnight for Gears was they gave out activation codes on a card that you could enter to get a gold gun. I don't think madden is giving away anything for the people that get it at midnight but I may be wrong.

I asked a worker at the one in my local mall yesterday. They're not opening at midnight but they are opening an hour early the following morning only for people who want to get Madden. I don't think mall security wants to be bothered with a midnight launch. They used to do it, so I suspect that they had problems one year.

now that I think about it , the concert will be done by 10ish, man I'm so stoked this is my first midnight madden.

I went to Gamecrazy's midnight release for Madden 08 (it was only 2 minutes away) and that was very unorganized. There was supposed to be a reserve line and not reserved line so people could quickly get their copy and it took 15 minutes for the first copy to be sold,and a fight almost broke out.
Hopefully Gamestop will be better
