Is the IR fixed this year, where you do not have to release a player if your roster is full to sign a free agent, placing the injured player on the IR actually frees up a roster spot?

Fair enough telling them to search, but at least tell the OP the answer other wise people will continue to post..

anyway..

It's still broken, you can't free up a roster spot by putting someone on IR. So in effect, it's still completely useless, and you cant gain anything from putting someone on IR

Not fixing the IR is a terrible omission and should be fixed in a patch!?!

Agreed. But how many years now has the IR system been messed up? I don't think it's ever been used correctly.
