Just got the game, on thing I noticed.

The "Jumping/two hands over the head" catch is used WAAAAYYYYYY too much in the couple of games that I've played. Also makes no since when its used sometime...

Anybody else notice this?

I know exactly what your talking about. And it seems like the WR can only look over his right shoulder, no matter where the ball placment is.

I've seen it on flat passes to to TEs and Rbs and I've done it w/ just about all high passes down the seam.

I belive every catch should look a lil different. I know that may not be possible yet, but they could at least put more than 5 catch animations on these next gen consoles.

Blu-ray discs can hold so much more, but just the fact EA wants to sell as much as possible across different platforms keeps them from making it to its full potential. They have a deadline, no matter if the game is finished, or not. They will get out just for the dough now, and fix the issues w/ a patch l8r.

I wish Sony and MS would each come out w/ exclusive football games, but thats not possible w/ EAs monopoly on the football gaming world.

I was told that a number of the community day guys really liked the animation. It is a good animation. The problem is that because the CD guys liked it, EA put their 5yrd old "I want to please you" hats on and must have set that animation along with a couple others to fire off a lot. The result is that M10 is forcing that animation to go when it shouldn't just so it will go off. When it come to animations, the most important thing to me is that they make sense in the context of the situation.

Yeah, it can be a great animation... when it is used in the correct situation.

But you can only eat cake so many times then it just gets old and stale.
