I don't know what it is...hell, maybe it's just the team I'm playing with (Bengals...terrible O-Line) but I cannot run the football to save my life. Almost every single play I get absolutely BLOWN UP in the backfield for a loss. I'm even playing on "Pro" with the O-Line blocking slider up to 100 and it STILL does it.

Can someone give me some advice? Is it just the team of and I doing something wrong. Any suggestions? Maybe one of you REALLY good players out there can try running with the Bengals and let me know if it's the team or just something I'm doing.

Well the Bengals OL does suck, so that could be a part of it.

One thing I find that helps is using a lot of play action

What do you have the CPU reaction time on?

IDK if that's the problem but, it could be. However, I'm still looking for a good set of slider's myself.

Whatever the default is. And yeah, I realize that the O-line sucks...HOWEVER, I don't think Nate Livings deserves to be one of the worst ranked o-linemen in the game, played well last season and I don't think he gave up more than a sack or two.

I can't run the ball to save my life either. I play as the Colts. They're terrible.

So I went to Play Now , and tried the Vikings against the Pats. And i was killing it like 5+ ypc.

OLINE is really important. And running back too.

Okay...I am just trying to gauge if others are having issues as well or if it's just the fact that the Bengals have a pretty bad o-line. I have noticed that the offensive line blocking is just downright terrible...meaning the A.I. so I was wondering if all the teams have a bunch of idiots as o-linemen.

I think part of the problem is that most backs aren't as fast. A lot of starting backs now have 85-89 speed. There are a few backs that hit the 90 mark. Seems like the backs that are in the 85-89 range get tackled far too frequently than speedier backs. I played with the Titans and man Johnson flies. I can see people abusing him online. He's the fastest back and rightfully so. But that's one part of the running game issue. The blocking logic is off somewhat, but not as much as in the demo.

i think it's the oline and matchup. the only time i've been shut down as the dolphins was against the ravens. i had 20-55 with ronnie in that game.
