This has happened countless times in NCAA and it really pisses me off. I take pride in my record (although it doesn't mean a damned thing) and my DNF. So when this happens, it destroys both and I lose my "credibility" as a guy who doesn't quit. So I really hope there is a fix for this. It doesn't seem like the person who is disconnecting gets the "L" either, which adds more salt to the wound.
