I always liked Buck but now that you mention it he does go whichever way the wind is blowing so to speak. Going to find it hard to listen to him now that you pointed this out and it kind of dawned on me.

Here's an Idea.... how about.... MADDEN. All he needs to do is a few booms and pows and a little turducken rant for thanksgiving games. He should have a little time on his hands now.

Of the announcers mentioned, I would prefer Al Michaels but don't think that would be possible. I doubt since Madden "features" ESPN, they would want the crew from NBC's Sunday Night Football.

Other.

Matt Vasgersian FTW (MLB The Show Series.) (Yes he does Play by Play Football, I heard him last year doing several NFC South Games.)

Al Michaels would be ideal because of his booth experience with Collinsworth (after this year of course), but I don't see him being "in touch" with the video gaming populace to really sell his commentary as being lifelike. Also there is a big difference between calling the action in reality on Sunday, and calling the action on the virtual gridiron. (Exhibit A:Tom Hammond)

Plus, he would probably require some serious jack, because of his schedule. I know he used to do it back in the day, perhaps there is a reason why he doesn't any longer.

PS > For those requesting Madden, the man is too old to do it anymore. He retired, and is no longer in the booth. You can still hear him if you let him choose your plays for you.

A monkey with a megaphone would be better than Hammond!

I would actually like Michaels or Tirico tho.

What do you mean, he did very good back in 05, what makes you think this?

I just have a hunch he doesn't want to do it anymore. He probably got burned out on doing it or something, because he hasn't been doing it recently.

I want Michaels back. I enjoyed his and Collinsworth's commentary during the Bills/Titans preseason game.
