Maybe if no NFL team signs him this year they could get sued by Vick because he is not in the player union.

Makes sense to me, I don't see P.C. being any major driving issue. If Vick isn't going to play and wasn't on a roster last year, why add him?

Its absolutely not political correctness. Vick has been out of the league for 2 years. Its a call made by the NFLPA. Its something to do w/ player marketing rules, just like how a college player has to sign a contract w/ the PA (seperate from a player/team contract) to even get in the game.

Once he's signed, he'll be in the game.

but techinically he is the same as any other FA right now and while i understand they want him to be on the right team he should be a FA now then updated with the roster update once he signs.

The developers already explained it in the Madden Voice this week. They CANT add him until the PA okays it. He is available to be signed in "real life", but he's also still suspended anyway. I'm sure Vick and his people have a lot to deal with than whether or not he's on the free agent list in Madden and a player marketing contract is probably one of the furthest things from their mind until he actually is a player again.

Technically? No. He is not technically the same. He has been conditionally reinstated. That is not the same as reinstated, for starters. He is not on the same level of eligibility as other free agents in good standing.
