I'm a little confused how not having in-season progression makes some players "worthless"

What about the Backfield Sliders that you can change to balance the number of carries between the starting and backup HBs?

its the fact that there is not training that makes some players worthless...you have to admit that with the stretched ratings this year that some players will just sit at with a terrible rating and not progress, since it seems that on field play will be the only thing to really matter. IE Remember when Tom Brady was a rookie? Brady stepped in with a 60-something rating...there's no way that a player could progress from a 60-something into a 90-something...or maybe even 80s would be a stretch. so yes, some players in this game will be worthless and just consume roster stops. I guarantee it. Sim some seasons and watch the players with low potential who ride the bench. I bet you they stay the same. This is why trainging will be missed, to bring up those guys who are stuck with terrible ratings.

anyways, this thread wasnt meant to discuss the training/progression, it was made for things that were apparently in the game this year that failed to make it.

as far as the backfield rb sliders, I know that the CPU utilizes 2 backs, and as far as the user, im not sure if there is a slider, but if its anything like the past, you can quickly sub in your 2nd back from the playcall screen.

This is actually in the game. It can be located in the Coaching area.
