Open field moves

Good Morning Guys,

Senario:

Toss play left to a Slaton-like runner. You get past the second level between the numbers and the sideline, It's just you and the safety.

How do you get by him?

I usually angle toward out of bounds then juke right, but usually end up going down rolling.

Is there a better way? Does wiggling the left stick work? Any other methods?

Thanks in advance.

I usually make some room for myself by heading towards him, then quick juke to the outside. Or I might release the sprint trigger and try to beat him inside with a normal juke.

Re: Open field moves

i've found the juke to be very effective if you run at an angle and juke in the same direction you're running.

I have had some success using the quick juke right when contact is made, using ryan grant that usually breaks the tackle.
