Fantasy draft questions

Will the cpu select a player like a rookie who has tremendous upside before selecting an aging player who is higher rated or is it all based on player ratings. I know the basketball games have figured this out but madden always seems to screw it up.

I feel like if I was really trying to put a franchise together that I would select a young guy like Matt Stafford, Matt Ryan, or Joe Flacco before selecting a QB like Matt Hasselbeck, Jake Delhome, or even a Donovan McNabb.

Don't have the game but I remember reading that someones impression was that picks were incredibly random, not in a positive way either. Don't take my word for it though...Again, I don't have the game.

that would be really disappointing if there was no logic behind picks.

Is it possible the CPU didn't go for the huge star players because of salary cap?
