Pass commit needs to be in the game

This feature needs to be brought back (via pre-snap controls like NCAA has), so that you can stop people from throwing PA when you know that it's coming. Nothing is more frustrating than knowing that they're going to pass, dialing up a perfect blitz, and then watching your entire defense attack the HB.

Run commit should also probably return, so long as it is NOT implemented like it is in NCAA. It needs to be the run commit that has been in the series previously, and not the glitchy version where your entire defense runs to one side, such that quarters D can somehow stuff power run formations.

Have you tried the player spotlight feature? It tends to help. I key on a receiver if I believe a pass is coming and key on a back if I believe the run is coming.

Not ideal but seems to be effective.

Why would they take out Pass Commit?? I always used this feature, especially online...it was a huge help on long 3rd downs, and for the idiots always going for it on 4th and long.

With Pass Commit, it helped give me time to get the Sack as the other player couldnt find anyone open.

Bump. I have no idea why they thought it was a good idea to remove this feature. Watching your opponent continually use PA, when they haven't even come close to establishing the run, is pretty annoying.

Yea, i have played 2 ranked games both guys did PA the whole game, 1st guy did it every play. I won both and really i don't think it's as effective as they think thank god. It seems to only be effecting the LB's, but i play a lot of zone. I think or atleast hope the developers knew people would try to exploit PA without Pass Commit and they made adjustments for it not to effect the secondary. I can't prove this and have not tested it in practice though.

I have seen LBs yell out audibles to alert the squad something they have keyed in on. Its not unrealistic. Mike Singletary did it alot as I recall. If you key something that tips you off a play is gonna be a pass, why cant you alert the team to watch for the pass ?
