Or if hiking the ball and kicking is too much then you could always super sim and just select watch the play it works the same way

My friends and I are big cpu vs cpu and coach mode players. We hold tournaments and place friendly bets on games and such. Plus, sometimes I just want to chill and watch a game while I am doing something else around the house.

I've watched a cpu v cpu game before and IMO it makes me want to scream. They don't really do what they should be doing. And ot be honest they don't play the same way when we controll one of the teams.

I would think that's what coach mode was for. but, I guess whatever floats your boat.

Coach mode is Coach mode, not GM/TV mode. As Brian says I like to put on a game and watch it like tv - I'm not into controlling the players myself and would rather the ratings took effect. It helps to mirror "real life" in a way as I just watch on a Sunday and have no influence over the outcome, just as I don't in Madden. It's a case of each to their own.

Being able to play any game allows you to be your own tv director so to speak and pick any game to watch, just like you can on a Sunday on tv.

I understand but, I just don't like the way the cpu plays itself. Playing the cpu is a pain in my ars anyway. This game plays a more truer version of the real thing when you play someone who knows how to play the game.

CPU play can be improved no doubt..I think the true test of the AI is to see how it plays against itself....gaming companies should always test the AI this way imho.

My opinion is that the cpu plays nothing like it does against another person. It's like watching the Jets scrimmage the Jets. Even if you pick different teams the cpu plays the say way it does on both sides of the ball.
