To me its not that it cheats...but Computer AI to your Computer AI seems different. They seem to know what play you are running and it just feel like the computer is overdone. The LBs intercept alot and the run game is very hard unless you have a good RB. All-Pro is easier, but it feels like you have a chance.

I suck and can only win on default Pro.Actually, I haven't won on Pro yet. 0-2 in my preseason. Lost to GB 10-0, lost to DET 14-3. Playing as the Browns.

I'm not being sarcastic, I'm really that bad, lol. Not afraid to admit that........which is why I don't play online. I'd rather embarass myself in the privacy of my home then get lit up online...........

Bluff your play calling, maybe that will throw the AI off, who knows.

Re: All-Pro vs. All- Madden: How do you like your game?

I just started playing on all-madden today and I found that its not the fact that the cpu cheats or they play impossible coverage.... I just found that the QB accuracy and the WR's catching ability drastically diminished. In every other difficulty the WRs catch just fine and my throws are perfect... but in all-madden my throws are always off and if the throws arent off, the WRs arent catching the ball as it hits them right in the chest. Its weird.... is anyone having the same problem???

I play with my own designed sliders and I get pretty realistic stats in my game but I just had three runningbacks over 2,000 yards in the first season but I'm more focusing on my own stats in the games.

I went 13-3 with some close games. I won by a hail mary in the last second against the Chargers with Manuel Johnson being the hero. The next game I lost by 42-41 to the Saints after a touchdown pass from Brees with 4 seconds remaining in the 4th quarter.

All Madden is a joke, and always has been. If you disagree, I'm sorry, but you're kidding yourself.

Instead of the CPU playing smarter and making less mistakes, it simply turns all their players into Hall-of-Famers and turns your players into high-schoolers. Suddenly my Pro Bowl QB can't make an accurate throw, my sure-handed receivers drop everything, my elite RB fumbles in clutch situations, my dominant offensive line gets completely manhandled, my superstar linebackers can't make a tackle to save their lives, my corners forget how to cover, my team makes dumb penalties, and the list goes on and on. I'll be playing a game against the Dolphins, and suddenly Chad Henne becomes Dan Marino, and the rest of the team is playing like the '72 version.

I completely obliterate the CPU on All-Pro, and I might win a couple games on All-Madden, but I don't care to find out. I can't even make it through one game. It's so ridiculous that it's not even enjoyable. Thank God for custom sliders.

Re: All-Pro vs. All- Madden: How do you like your game?

it's been known for a while that the game is tuned to all-pro difficulty. Unfortunately, this is basically as 'smart' as the CPU AI really gets. When you bump up to all-madden it makes it more of a challenge by making your players abilities worse and giving the CPU even more morphing and warping animationis.

You can increase the challenge by upping the CPU skill sliders, but keeping your skill on all-pro. This is what I do. I give their defense 75-80 reaction time, catch 75-80, 100 run block and 75-80 break tackle. This makes it challenging, but still limits the CPU 'cheating' somewhat.
