Yes, the game has lived up to the hype but to be fair my expectations of Madden have become so low that it was almost impossible for this game to be a failure. 2K5 still owns presentation but M10 has made a lot of great strides!

When I can't even play the main feature of this year's game...ONLINE FRANCHISE, because it's still broken!!!!!

And then to hear the ppl who have played their online franchise ramble off that nearly every single feature of it is broken is just disheartening....

Yes this game did. I played 2k's All-Pro football for 2 years before this. I could be seen as a 2k fan. My opinion is that this game is the best Madden I've ever played. The chess match is BACK. Teams feel individualized. Pro-Tak adds a whole new fluidity to the game. I'm very pleased. Should be a wonderful season of football for us.

Its a definate leap from last year..while there are bugs, glitches (like in all games) overalll its one good game of football. Its fun and exciting to play as well..to me which was the biggest problem with past maddens..its now fun to play.

I remember when NFL2k5 came out..it ALSO was loaded with bugs and glitches but yet i could NOT get enough of that game..i get the same feeling with madden..and many others feel the same. Its a fun game..bottom line. Now if they can push out two good patches to fix some of the issues..i think this game will be the best football game ever put out...yes, its that close to being that ultimate game of pigskin imho..

There are always gonna be hateeeerz..im at ALOT of various gaming forums and no matter how good a game may be...there are always the slew of people bashing it just to be bashing it..or are just uber picky when it comes to videogames..thats fine, im defiantely glad im not one of them because i enjoy alot of games that they dont because of a few bugs here and there..but the fact of the matter is no game is perfect, every game has glitches and bugs..its how you deal with these aspects of a videogame that results in how much fun you have with it...

Overall i would say Madden has lived up to its hype this year..but there are a few issues that really do distract from how great this game could be...now with these upcoming patches, they might be able to fix some of these issues that are bothersome, that holds it back from true greatness...but i will say this, if there were no patches put out for M10..i would still enjoy the game as-is because its fun and exciting to play regardless of its shortcomings.

If you are an online player there are really no issues for you at all. Everything legitimate seems to regard CPU play. Just my opinion.
