Throw Accuracy Is A Useless Rating, Is The Catch Rating Useless? {HELP}

Im sure we all remember Ian saying the Throw Accuracy is a rating that worthless in this years game because the Short, Mid, & Deep Accuracy ratings take higher priority. So i was wondering if the Catch (CTH) rating was worthless too...

CASE:

I have a WR w/
95 CTH
74 CIT (which i think means: how well a defender is able to hold on to the ball when being hit. to mean it translate to possession receiving...correct me if im wrong)
94 SPC

in 09, a possession catch was when u held Triangle/Y and the receiver would cover the ball immediately after the catch. and when u press Triangle/Y it was easier to drop the ball when hit.

now when i send him on a streak and toss it to him, if i try to possession catch it, he catches it at least 1/10 times. but i notice if i spectacular catch it, his catches it more often (of course depending on coverage). and i notice he'll drop a lot of slants if i try to possession catch it, and i think thats kinda weird since thats when u need to possession catch it a lot.

i was wondering if ANYBODY can shed some light on this for me, b/c if it is worthless i think EA might be moving into the right direction. maybe they didnt even kno about this, but itll expand the ratings even more

yea i did notice that when i use the raiders, but after all it's the raiders and they don't really have any good targets to throw to so thats expected lol

yea, but when u have highly rated WRs in ur franchise, u would like to know why they are dropping so many balls
