Is the running game broken?

I've only played about 4 or 5 games so far, but my first game was against the Lions on Pro difficulty. I used the Dolphins, and I was getting tackled in the backfield almost every time. Most of the time I had no time to do anything. I've since moved to All-Pro difficulty, and there's still no holes to run through. I've even tried passing the ball to open up the run game and that still doesn't really work. Any tips or suggestions? Is the running game just broken?

I've tried playing with a mix of teams, I've tried playing with a mix of difficulties...there are just no holes. If you run up the middle, you are not going to break off a big run without breaking multiple tackles.

It's a serious problem.

Running hasn't been to much of problem for unlike madden 09. Its all about waiting for the hole to set up. You just cant jam turbo and run left or right.

But like I said, half the time I'm tackled right as I get the ball.

Wait....

You started on Pro, and couldn't run. So you moved up to All-Pro??

Am I missing something here? Shouldn't you move down if you're having trouble running?

I killed the computer on Pro. It's too easy. That's why I moved up.

I am having the opposite problem where running is to easy for me..I have custom sliders all in CPU's favor and I am getting 100-150 yrd games with ease...you have to wait for the holes to open and follpw your blockers...be patient then hit turbo after you hit the hole...
