TACKLES,PANCAKE BLOCKS AND SACKS??

I am playing offline franchise mode,5 min quarters,and im taking a big hit with tackles as far as my players go, sacks aswell?? Im wondering what quarter lengths are you guys playing at in offline franchise for ps3 and are you getting the same results?I even try to run the 4-3 the whole game even on passing downs to try and get my lb's more tackles so the stats are realistic but no luck?Any suggestions?

Longer quarters = more tackles. I think the average amount of plays ran in a game is near 120, so adjust quarter times until you get close to that.

A team runs 62 non-special-teams plays in a game last year. (runs+passes+sacks)

That's an average though, so you'd expect run-heavy teams to run less plays, pass-heavy teams to run more plays

If you play 8 minute quarters you will get 120 plays a game, or if you play 12-15 minute quarters with accel run off clock at 15 seconds you will get 120 plays per game, 5 minute quarters will not give you realistic stats

Yes but even still, I cannot get more than 8 tackles with any one player nor can I get more than 2 pancakes with any one blocker. I used to play on 15 min with 25 sec run off, now I play on 12 min with I think 20 second run off.

Okay that's what I was wondering so your playing longer quarters, because the only issue Ill have with that is my tam putting up unrealistic offensive passing stats,

Stop playin 5mins qtrs......Plain and simple.....If you want realistic stats/scores etc you have to play MINIMUM 8mins qtrs. I play 13mins with 20 sec run off and get pretty true to life stats/scores.

Game takes about 40 mins to play thru...Well work it if you ask me. but.....

If you want quick games, then reaL STATS you will never have.
