Speed Threshold and Game Speed

I'm currently playing with Game Speed set to SLOW and using MySkill for player settings. I have the speed threshold set at 30 to try and give the burners more separation from the other players in the game.

Only thing I'm wondering is with the Threshold at 30, is that affecting my O-line when it comes to run blocking? Seems that most games I struggle to get any kind of outside run game going (tosses, sweeps) as the CPU defenders just blow past my blockers. Inside running is OK but not spectacular either.

I'm wonerding if the Game Speed is set to SLOW if there's even a need to mess with the Threshold slider.

I've seen some posts where people who play on NORMAL have the Threshold at 75, which, according to the slider description, actually makes the speed differential less between the players on the field, so that has me a little confused.

Im still trying to understand the whole theshold thing. Sorry I cant help you with your question. Just wonder what the theshold number means and does.

I'm sort of surprised at how many people play this game on slow or very slow. I myself think it is amazing on very fast, but other than that statement I really have nothing else to add because I'm still fiddling around with the threshold slider aswell.

I read somewhere that if you are using slow or very slow the threshold should be over 50, if using normal or fast it should be under 50. There is a really good thread on this in the slider section.
