Defending Passes < 7 Yards
What are your best plays for this? I keep getting torched on TE curls, HB passes, and WR drags. the only short pass i have stopped consistently is the WR curl. It sucks cuz even if i know a guy is gonna pass to the middle of the field on 3rd and 3-6 yards, I can't stop it with anything... cover 2, cover 2 with the buzz zones, cover 1, cover 2 man, cover 3, none of them seem to work, even hot routing the LB zones to the middle doesn't help. sometimes if i cheat my CBs to the inside it helps, but i don't have time to do that for every WR on every play
