good call - I'm bringing them way down - btw does this mean that they don't get the jump on the routes OR that the defenders just can't catch as well as they used to ?

First, there is no human INT slider, wish there was.

Second, I've zeroed out the CPU INT slider and bumped CPU Passing to 65 and played a ton of CPU vs. CPU games to test, still get an average of 6 INT's collectively per game and of course some pick sixes.

I see NO way to slider adjust to reduce the number of INT's the CPU throws to a reasonable total.

i think it's just the ability to catch it. i think jumping the route depends on Reaction Time slider.

Yes there is...under the main Pass D section, press A (on 360) and then additional sliders pop up.

Reaction Time
INT
Pass Rush

Man, was THAT well hidden!!! Thank you for that info, thank you.

HOWEVER, doesn't help in my CPU vs. CPU tests, you have to believe in those cases the CPU sliders control both teams.

EDIT: LOL, so I zeroed out my int sliders (human) and two plays later my ILB picks off a pass without my control and takes it to the house.

no problem - those "extra" sliders are in all of those main categories too. maybe try lowering reaction time too. picks still do happen but i mean, maybe the slider isn't too effective, i honestly don't know but so far, i haven't experienced too many INT's or pick 6's.

Re: pick sixes and fine tuning this bad boy

as for Pick 6's... the reason they happen so often is because the offensive players (who turn into defenders after the pick) take HORRIBLE pursuit angle. They run TO the ball carrier instead of running to the SPOT where he would most likely be. I think they programmed it like that on purpose :/

^^^^ this. You are 100% correct, you can zig zag a little and they take horrible angles, this is what needs to be fixed - I know they shouldn't be as good as Defensive players but they shouldn't be straight up stupid either
