The game should work well out of the box with one of the default settings. If someone can make the game better with sliders in a reasonable amount of time, why do the default ones suck so bad? Someone at EA should have taken a few days to find a good set of sliders, then set those to be the 50% setting.

There are no sliders online, so that makes them useless for a lot of people.

The thing that leaves a sour taste in my mouth is that 90% of the problems that are STILL in the game were said to have been addressed and fixed by the dev team.

Anything to get the sale apparently.

I'm not a big online guy, but if I were it would be a game killer. I'm saying coming from someone who hasn't played Madden since 06, i'm willing to at least wait a month for a patch cause this is a pretty good game. Some guys are just make noise over stuff we all know is there. I played 2k5 to death and it had flaws. Those who don't think are on drugs.

Same way...I'm waiting to open my copy until I hear what will and will not be patched...yeah 2k5 had its flaws, but it was also only 20bucks...I expect higher quality at 60 bucks

Great point. If this Madden was 20 bucks the talk would be very small. I'll give it a month cause right now ( I've had the game for about 4 weeks) it's pretty fun

I feel some guys are just completing without touching sliders. Yes some things annoy me, but the more my sliders get worked on the more this game is becoming playable. No deep ball- I've thrown a few and CPU had gotten some off (not enough though). No running game- 3 very good backs got 100 yards on me and nothing was scripted. My point is this a good game and with a patch it's great. You really need to adjust all sliders to your liking for this game to play well. Sounds nice in theory, but when you consider that sliders are meaningless online, what is the point.

I know that a lot of people like playing out seasons against the computer, and that's fine, just know that there are also a lot of people that get bored playing the computer and like to play against humans online or in person.

I have to learn the game in it's default incarnation because that is all I will be able to play it in competitively. I don't want to have to tune the game to get it to play properly. I would like the devs to tune it properly on default so that I'm actually playing the same game when it comes time to play someone with a pulse.
