Live weather is kinda pointless.

It's a neat idea, at best. But really, you're playing a game with two teams who might not even actually play each other this season... on a Tuesday in August... does it really matter if your random game is 54 and rainy while it's actually 82 and sunny in that city?

Ok, I am about 3/4's of the way through week 3 of playing my offline (but connected to the internet) franchise playing every game with every team. I have not once seen rain or snow. Thats 38 total games of madden to be exact, and not one single drop of rain? WTF? I keep waiting and waiting and waiting, nothing. We must be having one hell of a drought in the US right now right? Obviously something isn't right.

Quick question. In Franchise, does live weather affect the weather? I ask this bc if im in October and in NYC, i don't want it be 90 degrees.

Guys we had this same prob last year in ncaa 09 at launch. i had created a thread cuz every game was 75 and sunny so it wasnt working. i caught one of the devs attention (OMT on these forums). he wasnt seeing the problem because they were playing on there dev kits and not retail. once he finally played retail, he saw the problem and they had to fix a retail server. after that we were all good.

it is probably that same issue. the retail server that controls the live weather feed prolly needs to be reset or something.

Unless you turn on live weather.

On default, the whether is how you expect it. Mild in September, colder in December.

Its really neat. You start seeing snow towards the end of the seasons sometimes.

And by christmas all the games are practically icy.

And it gets raining in the tropical places later on.

Looks like it MAY be working today. Played a few games..one in Jax and one in Cleveland and the weather was spot on
