Fight for the fumble useless

I don't think it is even necessary to play the button mashing game during fight for the fumble. I've played several games where this foolish mini game has triggered and I've never pushed any buttons. I've still got the ball 50% of the time. This should be off for all online ranked games it just wastes time.

Turned it off after the first button mash fest. Just another lame EA GIMMICK.

Can we go just ONE year with NO gimmicks please?

Turn it off then and move on, why complain about it? Some people may like it and it is optional.

The reason you can not push things and still win is because you had the ball to begin with, what the button pushes represent is the ball potentially changing hands at the bottom of a scrum or pile up.

Yeah, I turned it off and didn't look back. I thought I liked it back at CD, but after getting it home, I'd rather not mash my fingers to death. But I like the cutscene, just wish they were different (instead of same scene different camera angle).

I don't have a problem with it. I've seen about 8-9 fumbles (not played a whole lot of games) and maybe 3-4 of them have been 'Fight for the Fumble' with the rest being guys picking the ball up in stride or clearly getting there first and jumping on it. It's something new and kind of fun.

lol i didnt even know that you can turn it off...can we turn off cut scenes to? ive pretty much seen them all and i cant skip em...
