Finally have figured out how to get a pass rush & stop the CPU offense on All-Madden

I've played several games now and couldn't figure out for my life how to play defense or get a decent pass rush on All-Madden.

It seems the key all along has been to use bump coverage on virtually every play and to mix in a HEAVY dose of blitzes. I know it sounds very simple, but doing those two things will change your game immediately.

The mistake I was making was just sitting back in coverage and letting the CPU robo QB pick me apart. Once you start bringing heat and getting in WRs faces, the QB gets rattled.

This is why I prefer to play on all pro, rather then all madden.

I do not want to play a game where I need to play press coverage and blitz 80% of the snaps.

Players seem tpo play more to their ratings on all pro.

I like a challenge.

That's the happy medium I think is missing from most sports games - making the game challenging without having players play above their in game ratings. In Madden, All-Madden is the only difficulty for me to get a good challenge in. But it's still frustrating because that challenge comes at the expense of super human cpu and robo QB.
