Why no ability to save subs in packages?

Okay here's something I'd like to see fixed changed or patched to online. The ability to save defensive and offensive subs in packages. For instance you can save your depth chart, yet each game you play you have to do your individual subs in packages every single time which can be annoying. I play with the Cowboys and obviously I want D. Ware in on every package a long with my other speed lb's and rushers. For me to do that I had to re-order my whole defense as well as the pacakages in game. I think there should be a feature online to edit and save packages. Just a thought.

hey, I'm surprised no had has responded to this...but good news! You CAN save formation subs. While in the playcalling screen you can hit Rb or R1 to enter the subs. These will save for the whole game, and if you are in franchise mode, it will save for the whole season. Also a reminder, if you choose "ask madden" subs are not available. Hope this helps~!

ok, I just re-read your post, and I see what you mean now. Yes, unfortunately you have to do it each game for online matches. It's a bummer, but really doesn't take that long unless you are switching a ton of guys. I use the packers and always put Kampman in for Nickel and Dime DE. Sorry for misreading OP.

Thanks for the post. I didn't realize this saved for the whole franchise! I used auto subs to take care of tired players, and since there is no Formation Sub option anymore in the franchise screen, I didn't bother using subs during the game, so I never would have picked up on this.

Thanks for posting this, I had no idea and that was a feature I really wanted!
