Is DKrause1971's roster a good draft class for Madden?

Re: Best Draft Picks (Franchise)

Lol, Michael Bolt would make the game too easy

My favs:

Cletis Parker: HB, 6'1", B, 99 speed, accel, agility, 93 elusiveness. 81 Overall

Something Lawe: WR, 6'5", C, 92 Speed, 88 trucking, 84 STFA. 61 Overall. Since this player had above average blocking abilities, I switched him to TE. He became a 66 with the move. Now he reminds me of a young Jeremy Shockey. He's now a 71 overall.

Something Conley: FS, 6'0", A, 93 speed, 98 Hit Power! 25 Awareness 82.

I've been using him manually since his awareness is crap, but I absolutely love him. I just go around hit sticking people, and with exceptional speed, he's amazing. I've forced 4 fumbles and had 1 pick in 3 games so far this season. He's also leading my team in tackles.

Another team got a good end in my last draft though.

Xavier Something: 85 Overall. 88 strength, 85 speed, 86 tackle, 88 accel. 80/65 in P/FMoves.

Re: Best Draft Picks (Franchise)

There's a whole thread that has a spreadsheet on it listing all of the "A" potential players in Madden 10, through the 32 different drafts, and with the updated rosters. It's on the head coach forums though because thats where most people do the whole spreadsheet thing.

heres the link

enjoy!

Well yes and no. His rosters are quite good but some players like Eric Berry just get screwd beyond belief. If you want realistic draft classes, you're gonna have to edit players. I just finished editing RB's and here's what I got with notable attributes:

1st Round:
Demarco Murray: 75 OVR 87 Speed (a little low I know)-Raiders
Jahvid Best: 68 OVR 89 speed-Browns
CJ Spiller: 71 OVR 90 speed- Rams

2nd Round:
James Starks- dont remember OVR- Chiefs
Evan Royster- 62 OVR 86 speed 40 AWR- Packers
Jonathon Dwyer- 66 OVR 89 Breaktackle- Buccaneers

3rd Round:
Charles Scott- Bengals
LaGarret Blount: 86 breaktackle- Patriots
Ben Tate- 85 speed 60 catch- Chargers
Michael Smith- 83 speed (too low imo)- Eagles
Mikell Simpson- Dont remember ovr- Broncos

4th Round:
Reggie Arnold- 72 AWR (highest in RB class for some reason)-Saints
MiQuale Lewis- 59 OVR- Redskins

5th Round:
Harvey Unga-69 OVR 91 Breattackle (was happy to see this)-Steelers
Eugene Jarvis- Dont remember- Jets

6th Round:
Stafon Johnson- 84 speed (a bit bummed)-Raiders again
Keiland Williams- Dont remember- Dolphins

7th Round:
Toby Gehart- Texans (had 88 breattackle but 75 speed i believe)

Sorry about forgetting to write down some of the overalls. I wrote the interesting ones. Took me about 3-4 days to really edit all RB's and feel like I'm on to something. I am going to keep tweaking these and see if I can get the speeds right. Noel Devine will determine whether or not I have figured out what effects RB's going into madden. Hopefully I can get him up to at least a 90 speed.

Late 1st round (2010) Jahvid Best RB from Cal with 97SPD, ~70 OVR. Runs pass everyone and the kid can catch too.

I got him too. Jennings or something. In the same draft I got a 80-something receiver in the round before him rated in the 80's (Whitemoore or something like that). My worst two player were my first pick (I traded down from the 30th pick) and my 7th rounder.

Re: Best Draft Picks (Franchise)

83 OVR SS I stole in like, the sixth round. Second round pick was an 83OVR MLB that became 85OVR when I moved him to ROLB.

Of course my #1 pick was a sub-40-overall dud that the game deleted after I released him.
