Gems in Free Agency

With Shaun Ellis out for the 1st game of the season (and kareem brown switched to TE in the newest roster), I signed simeon rice for 1 game.. he got 5-6 snaps, 1 solo tackle and I cut him after the game. I was surprised/pleased to see him in the game, and would have held onto him if he fit anywhere in the 3-4.. or any defense.

I didn't know Simeon Rice was in the game, I'll have to check that out later.

He is around a 67 I believe.. (un)fortunately looks like he might follow charles rogers to the UFL.

my best fa gem was Clint Ingram. He's an olb out of oklahoma who played 3-4 years with jacksonville. he's a 79 with an A potential and is a great tackler. i've only played 2 preseason games with him so far, but he's a great pickup.

that's not true. Packers signed Andre Rison in 1996 after Robert Brooks went down with an injury.

Brian Witherspoon, CB in the free agent pool when the season starts.

Doesn't see the field on defense (I think he was only rated 53 when I signed him), but he made the probowl my 1st season as a kick returner.

Matt Jones is a beast at WR #3 for me...
6'5"
Good speed 88 (can easily beat LB's most Safeties and some nicklebacks)
Great for the Deep ball (High Jump and 90 Spec. Catch rating)

He is the leading receiver in my Cowboys franchise so far...
