im new to the 360/online thing, & im really on-board with the broadcast camera people(my own long-lost cult)---so how does one patch? just stick an internet/phone line to the back of the 360? & then what?

how the hell does patching work? sorry revis, some of us dont play online all day, & have never done it before...

It's a pretty simple question.

You have to have your xbox connected to the internet, and for the xbox you have to a subscription to xbox live.

Once you have those two things, the game will prompt you to patch when starting it up when a patch is available (which for this game, hasn't happened yet).

I didn't see anything simple in that. WTF is "how does one patch"? That hardly makes sense. How does one patch is basically asking how the devs create and release the patch or something. Maybe he meant to say "how do you download the patch"? And then he said something about a broadcast camera? And why would you connect a phone line to the back of your 360?

That wasn't necessary. It was kind of a confusing question, he wasn't laughing at how you didn't know how to download a patch, he wasn't clear about the question you were asking. It was bad wording...

What?

He makes it very clear what he is trying to do? He says "So do I stick a phone line in or what?" It is quite clear he wasn't asking how developers make a patch.

I know for you younger guys this seems like common sense, but this question wasn't confusing at all.
