I am tired of getting punished for stopping the run

I am tired of all of these broken 5-man gang tackles I am seeing. It's like the game is punishing me for not getting a SIXTH guy on him. I read the offense, called a great play, made good preplay adjustments, stuff the runner at the LOS, but because I didn't tackle him with 6 guys, only 5, the cpu decides to give the HB the TD.

I understand similar situations happen in real life, but not when 5 men have brought one HB to a standstill, wrapped up, and he just busts loose. That just doesn't happen. Quit penalizing me for playing good D, please.

Okay, I feel you man, but it doesn't happen very much to me honestly so I can't comment too much. I actually have the sliders set up to improve the computer rushing game. On all-pro it is too easy to stuff the computer on most every play.

I see it happen maybe 2/3 games, if not at a higher frequency.

What is your human tackling slider on?

I see people lowering it to 10-15, and it is terrible. I dont mind broken tackles, but not every play, especially when Im playing with the Steelers and every player is at least a solid tackler.

Since I changed it, it is alot better. I believe my slider is on 40-45.

I don't see these happen more than once every 3 games, tops. Pro-tak is just a treat to experience. I think if you lay off the turbo it helps initiate pro-tak situations where you grind out more yards in comparison to just spinning out of control to the ground.

Then depending on who you are playing against [the back] it doesn't sound too bad.

Some times I see the pro-tak it actually looks plausible. Some of the pro-tak animations have one defender going for the strip and not actually helping with the tackle while another jumped int othe pile and is actually hurting as he kind of falls on the legs of anther guy bringing his teammate down with him instead of the back. Next thing you know two or three of the defnders have poor arm tackles instead of just wraping the guy up in the firstplace and the others just slide off. When I watch some of these it makes me laugh at the poor tackling by a pack of defenders.
