Trying to get sacks? Well, I was to, but......

Im in a jets chise in the 11th week. I havent changed any settings, I play on my skill.. which is pretty much usually all around allpro or better.

anyway I have got atleast 2-6 sacks a game except 1 game against the patriots I only got one sack, and it was on the back up "O'connell?" cuz brady was out for a quarter. now the jets arent usually one of the top sack teams, so I dont know what to tell ya.

I am getting around 125 Yards Rushing per game with 200 yards passing... I actually have the leagues best offense in yards, but that was because my first 3 games were on All pro and I racked up over 200 yards in two games with one actually getting 303.

Well I tried it, it was the only aspect of the game that was bothering me (isn't that amazing with all of the complaining on this board) Anyway, it SEEMS to have worked so far. I went from 0-2 sacks per game and the 2 is really stretching it, to 2-4 sacks per game in my last 4 games. You seemed to have made a great game better for me. Thanks canes21! I'll let you know if anything changes.

I am glad they have helped you. I may have just found a great find. If more people tested this, then the sacks problem might just be cured.

I'm getting good sack totals with the Steelers from everyone but James Harrison. In 4 preseason games Woodley had 4 sacks,A. Smith 4,Timmons 2..etc etc. A big fat 0 from Harrison. I guess i'm going to have to package him over to Woodleys side a few plays a game. Not sure theres much else i can do lol


Is anyone getting decent/close to realistic sacks from their ROLBs?

i've had human pass rushing at 90 and cpu pass blocking at 55 the past few days and i get around 5 sacks (the same as when i had cpu blocking much lower). i don't think changing the cpu pass blocking changes how the qb plays. i'm almost 100% positive it's using the sprint button and possibly the right stick that causes the cpu qb to "panic".

another thing is whether or not you dive at the qb or just try to hitstick him. the latter results in lame ducks and dumb passes 90% of the time. the former triggers this weird qb falling animation, but it gets you sacks.

my 2 cents is to lay off the sprint, use the right stick and then dive at the qb (even though i really hate the way it looks) if you're using the dline and want sacks.

It's hard as heck to get sacks with Harrison and I don't know why. I'm gonna try these sliders and hopefully they help. I don't like messing with them but that may be the only way to get sacks.
