Ive had the same thing happen when I assign my top CB to their top reciever. For what ever reason their number 2 reciver is covered by a LB.

Ok Im glad Im not the only one with this issue. And this use to always happen in past Madden's.

The topic creator is correct. But you can fix the problem by assigning your other 2 CBs to the other receivers which will prevent them from getting matched up with a tight end.

It shouldn't as long as you assign a wide receiver for them to cover.

If you only assign one corner to a wr it will screw things up. You have to assign all corners and lbs to each player if you even assign one because assigning a corner to a wr makes a lb cover a wr in a 3 wr or 4 wr formation.

You have to be smart when it comes to assignments.

If I assign people thats not on the field regularly when there not in the game will things go haywire?
