Am I giving up way too much for P.Willis

Im in the second year of my franchise after going 11-5 and winning the superbowl my linebacker core is doing horrible and I cant sign anyone because of my cap the only trade the Niners will take is Donavan and Samuel (for patrick willis of course) I dont know weather I should take it or it not

Take it, McNabb is getting old anyway.

I'd do it, Vick is your backup right?

Re: Am I giving up way too much for P.Willis

Seems pretty fair, although I probably wouldnt do it.

Yes, Willis is awesome, but you lose a franchise QB and a top 5 corner. Samuel has 5-6 top years left and Donavan has another 3-4 years left.

Yes, Willis will be a top MLB for the next 10+ years, but you set your team back in the short run.

I could go either way I guess, but I lean towards no.

On a side note, it is completely ridiculous that some of these trades even happen. The 49ers would never make that deal in real life. Certain players are completely untradable in real life, but that is never reflected in Madden. Willis is 23, already the best ILB in the league and has HOF potential...no way would they ever make that trade in real life.

i agree 100%, but you have to think of it this way, how many people would complain about not being able to trade for him?

Going to have to agree here.

OP: Think about what you're giving up. McNabb still has 3 years left and the Eagles secondary isn't THAT good without Asante Samuel. I wouldn't do it. Kinda strange how you have Stafford, but ok. Seems like you've been doing alot more trading, eh?

If Stafford is your back up then what's the tough choice here? Stafford>>>>McNabb at this point in their careers.

You have already won the Super Bowl so you can afford to take some chances for your team IMO.
