How to download patches?

Hello,

can somebody help me out, i dont know how to update my maddengame, i want to download the rosterpatch.
how it works? i cant find it.

The roster update is different than a patch. Patches update on their own when connected to Xbox Live/PSN. To update the roster, go to Xbox Live (or PSN or whatever the Playstation version is called), pull down the Online menu, and then go to depth chart. Then it will ask you if you want to download the updated rosters, and you will say yes.

so i connect my ps3 to psn and open my madden game and go to online franchise or what?is that free?

Yes, it's free. Start Madden, then go to PSN > Online > Depth chart.

Don't believe so, I think he's referring to the roster update.
