I use the Hauppauge HD-PVR to record my footage in 720p from my console to the PC. here is a link...

I love it, you can record from your console, as well as record off of your hd satellite or cable boxes. If you search my videos on youtube, you can see I put up a couple of Vikings highlight videos yesterday that were also recorded off of my Directv HD-DVR using the Hauppauge.

Really nice vid!

Question to everyone, does it look choppy to you? Madden always looks choppy to me compared to APF2K8, very slow mode helps make it look more smooth, but the video looked more choppy than normal?

To the OP, do you know how many FPS you were recording at when you posted?

The datarate that my HD-PVR is set to record at is 13.5Mbs, which is the highest allowed. Madden 09 actually recorded a lot choppier than 10 does for whatever reason. If you look at my "Chili's DayDream" video you will probably see what I mean...



compare that to Madden 10, I think you will see a bit of a difference in the choppiness...
