How many Play the way I do!

I Know we talk and hear alot about "Sim" players in Madden. I'm not talking On-line, just off-line. Well I've been playing madden since 92' and I have always played my Franchise/Season's the same way. As far as trades and FA I always make big moves that change the way my team looks (ex 1st season Vikings Traded K.Williams for J.Witten) and to my question of Game Play!

I'm the type of player that plays on All-Pro with slider adjustments. but this is where I'm sure I am differnt 1st off I never kick FGs. I dont know just hate FGs for some reason (unless its for the win or OT) I only punt if I'm inside my own 40. and this is the big one if Im up 49-14 with 1:30 to go in the game( I play 6 min Qtrs. no accl. clock) I go for the score I pad th hell out of my stats every game. Dont get me wrong I still get beat I was 11-5 in my 1st season with the Vikings lost in the Superbowl. Now I'm 12 games into my Pats chise and I'm 12-0 and crushing almost every team, Dolphins played me tough twice. I guess I just like to put up big numbers. I like to see if I can get 2 WR with 100 cathes and 3 with 1000 yards! or run for 2100 yards and 30 TD, or in Brady case 5500 yards passing and 60 TD. Its the way I have always played and I'm sure I always will.. never going to see me kneeing the ball or kicking FGs. Just wondering if anyone else plays for the stats.

I don't play for big numbers or unrealistic stats. I play for realism and consider myself to be a sim football fan.

First year with the Vikes I went 8-8, I'm 3-1 now in Year 2. I lost Chad Greenway for the season due to a torn pectoral muscle, and lost Percy Harvin for a fractured foot for 8 weeks.

I wouldn't say my stats are all unreal, just Paded some, with the Viks I ran for 1,700 yards and 25 TD with AP but week 12 with Brady I'm at 4,200and 40TD so ya that wouldnt happen but it is a video game, Welker 90,1100 and Moss 85,1400 and 20TD as a team I'm Ave. about 90 yards a game rushing.

If im going for it all the time, itll feel like im not even playing NFL football, so there goes the fun... so whats the point?

I guess the point is kind way I made this thread. To see i how others play the game, the way I see it I'm not playing NFL football. I'm playing Madden, Going for it on 4th down bites me in the a** more times then not, I do punt alot its just something about FGs that I hate, but hey thats just me.. The way I play is no better or worse then the way anyone else plays.

Hey bro if thats the way you like to play then more power to ya. Everyone plays the game in their own ways.

I agree. However, what is real? I have no issues with someone turning the Vikes (for example) into a run-and-shoot spread offense.

But I am with you in that I don't do anything "cheesy". I never take advantage of discovered money plays and I don't have problems with losing (well, I do but I don't).

I am currently using the Bears and am 1-1.

I try to be sim, but if my RB has 98 yards and I'm up by 24 points with 40 seconds left, I'll try to get him 2 yards.
