This whole time I thought it was normal, but now the EA devs are making it seem like slow is the most realistic speed when they said it provides the best "combination of sim and fun gameplay." (This was in the thread that announced it was to stay the speed setting for online play.)

Well, I would imagine fast because the NFL is played with decisions made is seconds. Not slow or even normal where every crap nfl player has forever to make decisions.
