Re: Career ending injuries.

When it comes to Vick, he was a marginal passer with HORRIBLE weapons at the wide receiver position at the time he played. Sure he made bad throws, but who doesn't? His receivers constantly ran bad routes, dropped passes, etc. Hell Roddy White was among the top in the league in dropped passes under Vick's time there, and as a whole the unit ranked near the top as far as dropped passes went.

As far as the actual topic goes, I probably have had the worst. I decide to play with the Lions in Franchise to rebuild. Pre-season game number one. First pass. Matt Stafford broken vertebrae, career ender. Second quarter? Calvin Johnson. Literally the whole team GONE in two plays, lol. I was pissed.

Also, Chris Johnson seems to get sidelined with multi-week injuries pretty often. Actually he's yet to make it through 16 games and I've gone through about 5 or 6 Titans franchises since buying the game upon release, lol

Re: Career ending injuries.

I have only had one happen. It was either 08 or 09 but I was playing franchise with my friend and I had become disgusted with my starting QB after going 2-14 because of him. It was the draft in which Matt Stafford came out. With the first of first I take Stafford. He was an overall 86 rookie. I was extremely pumped and we sim the preseason so we can play our game against each other. We check the injuries after preseason and Stafford was done. He didnt even get his first "real" play in the NFL before he was done. My franchise took another 4 years to finally break 8-8 after that.

That would never happen in real life. Slaton played through a wrist injury in college.

Re: Career ending injuries.

Guys,

Let's end the Tom Brady/Mike Vick overrated/underrated conversation please. That's not what this thread is about.
