They ran "test" and Slow covers up some GLARING problems with the game. However, it also breaks other parts....specifically DEFENSE. EA will give defense for the perception of a decent run game for the skill-Challenged.

Fact of the matter is they should've shipped the online portion with the slow setting on.. Why in the hell would they change it after 2 weeks when no one complained?

I think they wanted to take a shortcut to stop people from whining about nanoz, so the easy thing was slow the game down so that nanoz aren't as fast.
