Revealing Potential for non controlled players

I noticed when looking at players through the player management of franchise mode, sorting the columns by potential might actually be revealing whose poised to do good and whos not. I think it actually sorts them even though there are question marks for non controlled players.

Just looking down the WR list, I use my players as markers, because their potential is revealed. Say for example I have a drafted WR who is already 94 overall with a A potential, hes close to the top. Cotchery however, is rated 87 with a B rating. Hes a little more down the list. My C rated player who has a 70 rating is past Cotchery among other lower rated players. The further down the list you go, the overall ratings decline.

Up at the top, I see few players with a 60-70 overall, but are mixed in with all the 90 overall players who no doubt have a A potential rating. These players all come from the draft.

I think Im gonna ignore this, as this takes the fun out of it. I wonder if anyone else noticed this. Probably so..

I noticed it as well when I was checking my RB ratings in relation to other RBs in the NFL. It had Williams and Stewart's A revealed near the top, with a couple ?'s inbetween them and then my 3rd string RB way down near the bottom with his (I think) C or D

I use this to check up on top 5 picks after the draft, I always find it a little a funny when a top 5 pick is nowhere near the top of their position in potential.
